WHUR 96.3 FM SPONSORS ANNUAL RELAY FOR LIFE

Cancer survivors take the first lap

Hundreds of cancer survivors and their loved ones joined WHUR 96.3 FM on Friday, May 18, for an overnight celebration and fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. It was part of the Annual Relay for Life, where cancer survivors and their families camped outside on the track of Prince George’s Community College to raise money for cancer research, education, and prevention. The event raised nearly $30,000.
