urgent issues of
incarceration and
re-entry into society
faced by the
African-American
community.
At its 91st Annual
Convocation, entitled
“Healing, Restoration
and Community: The Black
Church Confronts
Incarceration and
Re-entry,” held Nov. 7-8
at Howard University‘s
East Campus,
distinguished
African-American
theologians from across
the country explored one
of the deep-seated
social issues.

state-of-the-art facility
that services the multiple
medical needs of diabetic
patients through a
multidisciplinary approach
to patient care.

The
Office of the Vice President for
Research and Compliance (OVPRC)
is a newly created cabinet-level
division dedicated to promoting
and fostering research
activities at the University
while maintaining compliance
with federal, state, local, and
university regulations governing
research. The OVPRC is chiefly
responsible for providing
oversight to the Howard
University research enterprise
and related offices that support
research.
