on Your CETLA Certification in Information Literacy


Arthuree McLaughlin Wright will be the instructor for IL01

The course IL01: Sterling Web and the Internet, will be offered to new faculty on Thursday, September 27, at 12 noon, in the Founders Digital Classroom Room 116. This hands-on mediated tutorial is designed for persons who have some experience with using the Internet but desire to enhance their searching skills and learn more about resources at Howard. Topics include searching Sterling (the Howard online catalog) and Worldcat, exploring full-text databases and other reference sources that are accessible via the Howard University Libraries (HUL) Homepage, using search engines to identify learning objects or image databanks, and evaluating and citing Internet sources (60 minutes).
